I did it!
Yes, still here.
It's been a year since my last post but oh well.
A hell of a year.
Peanut butter fudge decadence was helpful!
Made these on Memorial Day.
Had enough ingredients to make half a recipe.
Which was pretty impressive considering that I hadn't been to the grocery
in over 10 weeks at the time.
Since then, I sucked it up and went.
Once.
At 7 a.m., which wasn't half bad.
I'm in no rush to go out.
My daughter, on the other hand, went to the protests downtown.
That's her holding up the sign.
I only count 2 people in this photo without a mask.
Good for you, Atlanta.
Glad to see people standing up (and masking up) for one another.
Speaking of masks, I've made a zillion of them.
That's a bit of an overstatement, but not much. Over 1300 to date.
We're going to need them for awhile so might as well get creative.
Now, a shoe. It's dreaming of going to the grocery fearlessly. The guardrail, the fence, even the little security camera in this picture speak to me right now. And there's a whole backstory about what happened when I stopped to take the picture. It's enough to say that there's a secret place in your keyless car to make it start.
Hope you are all well, wherever you are.
Stay safe.
Wear a mask.
Love one another.
Yes these are unprecedented times. I work in healthcare and I think I will be wearing masks from now on with no end in sight. I agree these chocolate bombs were a welcome treat.
